About the Company
Check Elec is a West Midlands based specialist PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing) Company which provides a highly competitive service ensuring that businesses and organisations comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations and are fully covered for Insurance purposes.
All our engineers are fully qualified and the Company is covered by Public Liability Insurance.
We have schools, offices, children's nurseries, DJs, factories and Gardening Services (just to mention a few ) on our books and we consider no job too small.
Appliance Testing
Each appliance is thoroughly tested to meet the requirements of the IEE code of practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
Types of appliances can include:

Minimal Disruption
All electrical equipment to be tested has to be disconnected from the mains supply. We understand the inconvenience that this can cause, especially in a business environment, which is why we provide out of hours & weekend service at no extra cost. So if you want us to come at midnight on Sunday...NO PROBLEM...NO EXTRA CHARGE.
Reports & Certification
On completion of the testing you will be issued with a safety certificate in a bound folder for Insurance purposes and general reference . All items that pass the inspection & testing are labeled with a safety sticker.
What is Included in the Price ?

Any necessary re-termination of plug cables

Any necessary replacement of standard plug tops and/or fuse cartridges

All standard pass/fail labels

A concise asset report in a bound folder

A record of each item inspected and tested which includes Company name, site, location, asset description, test results and date of next due test.

All records held for 10 years

All tests can be supplied on floppy disk if required.
